About us
Who we are
Pathway for Community Development and Empowerment Initiative (PCDEI)
is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering resilient, inclusive, and empowered communities. Guided by the belief that every individual deserves dignity, safety, and opportunity, PCDEI focuses on four core pillars: Healthcare Access & Disease Surveillance, Education, Economic Empowerment, and Advocacy for Social Change.
Our health programs prioritize community-based surveillance (CBS) for early disease detection and prevention, coupled with immunization campaigns to protect vulnerable populations—especially women, girls, and children. We empower adolescents through mentorship, life skills programs, and reproductive health services while championing gender equity and youth engagement.
Through strategic partnerships with local, national, and international organizations, PCDEI delivers initiatives that strengthen community systems, amplify local voices, and promote sustainable development. Our approach integrates advocacy, communication, and social mobilization (ACSM), ensuring community ownership of health and development solutions.
